Here is the first picture of our new little angel! I can't get the picture to straighten but hopefully you can figure out what you are looking at! The baby was face down, butt up ( just like Madi was during her first photo shoot!) But everything looked good. We have to go again on June 12 because the dates were a bit off and some of the organs weren't developed enough to get the pictures they needed! So I will post shots from that photo shoot too!

Ice cream cones and BRAIN FREEZE!

David brought home ice cream and cones the other day and we were enjoying one when Madi came over and tried to take a bite of mine and I figured... it can't hurt.. well she grabbed it out of my hand and preceded to almost eat the whole thing!!!

I don't think you can notice it unless you click on the pic and make it bigger but in each picture her eyes get progressively wateryier ( is that a word?! ) because of the brain freeze from the cold ice cream.. but it didn't matter to her. And not only did she like the ice cream she loved chewing on th cone!! We have a created a ice cream eating monster!

Fun at the park

I can't believe that Madison would even crawl through this tunnel. She really suprised me. But I think that it helped to have Daddy to look through the holes at!!
She got a good kick out of looking at him and he got some good shots. Even though she looks super sad and depressed.. she really was having a good time!

"I will make it up the slide..... I will make it up the slide...." The look of concentration on her face was so cute!! She just didn't understand!

Super cute

I LOVE this picture of Madi. She was modeling her new Hawaii dress from Grandma and Grandpa and was twirling around and David caught at the perfect moment! She loves this dress.... she walks around poofing it up and down! She is such a little girl!

Snug as a bug in a wet towel!

Here are some pics of Madi after bathtime... all wrapped snug and dripping wet!!! I told her to smile at the camera and thats why she has the sort of "pained look" smile in 2 of the pics!

Little Lady

The other day Madison got ahold of her diaper bag and pulled everything out and started to carry it around like a purse so I figured unless I wanted to spend my days cleaning up her diaper bag stuff that I need to find her a little purse! My friend Donna had given Madi a cute little outfit when she was born ( the outfit doesn't fit yet but the purse is great!! ) and it came with a purse.. so I pulled that out and she loves it!!! I was trying to get her dressed this morning but she would have nothing to do with that.. she wanted to walk around naked and with her purse in the crook of her arm!!! She is so lady like!

Pink balls and iced over lakes

There really wasn't much in the way of play things for a 16 month old at our picnic site , just a bunch of rocks and sticks and ice...and lo and behold a left over pink ball....
Madison hasn't really figured out "kicking" yet but she will pick up the ball and throw it to you ( or at least in your direction!)
Goal!

Picnics and watermelon!!!

We decided to head out the Ingram Trail for a picnic today. There is still lots of ice on most of the lakes but we have been out there in the summer and figured we could find a nice picnic table somewhere and eat or at least enjoy the drive and then eat in the car! I think this would have been Madi's first picnic...well at least where she ate food and not formula! We had gotten a really good deal on a seedless watermelon at the grocery store so David cut that up and we took it with us. Madison LOVED it.. as is evident in the pics!
At first she was content with me holding the watermelon but then she wanted to do it by herself. I had of course forgotten napkins.. who does that with a 16 month old??!!

As you can see... she loved it!
