Last summer we drove out a couple times to a great picnic spot just past Rae. We decided that we were going to head out there the end of March and see how much snow was left. We thought that perhaps we would be able to at least make it to a picnic table and enjoy our lunch there!
Well..... we were a tad bit optimistic!! There was still snow everywhere!!
But we made the best of it! We ate our lunch in the car and then walked out on the lake ( gotta admit.. the mama in me was a tad bit nervous!) and then let the girls run around... you will notice all the garbage around... and no we don't let our kids play at the dump... it was just really dirty there..
The girls had fun though, and thats what counts!!

She would fall on the snow and then just wait to be helped up... cause "heaven forbid" her hands touch the snow!!
